It’s about that time of the month when rumors begin to circulate regarding the line-up for certain subscription-based services. This month is no different because it seems as though the PlayStation Plus Essential line-up for November has been revealed, and it features some pretty big names as well, you’ll be pleased to know.
According to our sources, the PlayStation Plus Essential line-up will feature three very special games that include the action role-playing game Nioh 2, the excellent Lego Harry Potter Collection, and the space game Heavenly Bodies. As line-ups go, this is a very impressive one, with both Nioh 2 and Heavenly Bodies receiving critical acclaim when they were released, and most people already know about the LEGO video game series.
It was this time last month that we revealed the line-up for October which featured the games Hot Wheels Unleashed for PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Injustice 2 and Superhot for PlayStation 4. Now, these three games are a fairly modest collection, and if you are one of the many who experienced them and felt largely let down by what was on offer, then you should have no problem getting psyched up for November because it feels like quite the significant upgrade compared to October’s games.
Let’s delve into November’s games though because it’s an exciting line-up. The first game on offer is Nioh 2 which is set in Japan during the late 1500s. This game is very similar to its predecessor where players take control of a character called Hide, whose appearance and gender depending on what the player has decided upon. Hide’s journey through the Sengoku Era begins when they become friends with an ambitious merchant who seeks out a demon hunter of the Sohaya group. Players are equipped with a variety of weapons, and can learn new skills and special abilities as they progress through the game
The second game is the Lego Harry Potter Collection which features Lego Harry Potter: Years 1–4 and the sequel Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7. That’s a lot of games in one collection, so you’re spoilt for selection it seems. As most people will know, the Lego games are quirky video games based on the Harry Potter series of films, but with added twists and turns that have made the Lego video game series one of the most beloved series of all time – the Harry Potter games are some of the most enjoyable in the whole series as well.
The final game is 2pt Interactive’s space game Heavenly Bodies. This game is all about cosmonauts, the body, and the absence of gravity as you discover the ever-changing nuances of weightless motion in this challenging physics game. You must use the thumb sticks to control the character’s arms as you complete physically simulated scenarios aboard this research station.
