Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Launches November 2

October 23, 2022 by Alexandra Nicholson

“Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises” rolls out very soon.

Hoyoverse has revealed the launch date for the latest Genshin Impact update. The game’s version 3.2 will be released on November 2 and will bring the grand finale of the Sumeru questline with it. The launch date was revealed as part of Hoyoverse’s latest Genshin Impact live stream event.

Also unveiled during the showcase were a number of new events and characters that will be joining the popular RPG as part of the upcoming version 3.2 content. These include Sumeru locals Nahida and Layla, who will join the roster of playable characters in Genshin Impact in the new update. As the current Dendro Archon, players will already have some familiarity with Nahida, who will join the ranks as a five-star Dendro catalyst character. Layla, a student of Astrology at the Akademiya, can use sleepwalking to reveal her true power, using her Cryo skills to deal damage and shield the team from harm.

It’s also been confirmed that Nahida will appear in the early part of version 3.2’s Event Wishes alongside a rerun of the character Yoimiya. Layla will be featured in the latter half of the update, alongside reruns of characters Yae Miko and Tartaglia.

The main storyline of the Sumeru region, which was revealed as part of the game’s version 3.0 update in the summer, will reach its climax and draw to a conclusion in version 3.2, it’s been revealed. Hoyoverse has also released a new trailer for the update, titled “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises.” You can check it out right here to see how events in Sumeru look set to wrap up in the coming weeks.

The Sumeru Archon Quest conclusion will see the player needing to join forces with a number of other characters in order to rescue Nahida from The Doctor’s dastardly plot with the Akademiya. However, a new enemy in the form of the third Fatui Harbinger boss will block their path, alongside a variety of new and challenging opponents. Players will also be able to take part in more enjoyable activities outside of the main quest line in version 3.2.

These include a new event entitled “Fabulous Fungus Frenzy,” which will challenge players to catch and train various types of Fungi to do battle in different challenges. Additionally, players will be able to take part in the “Adventurer’s Trials” events of this update with a new set of trial characters. The game will also be introducing support for the Italian and Turkish languages from its subsequent update, version 3.3. In addition, Genshin Impact will also be introducing a much sought-after “Replication System” for the Serenitea Pot system. This means that players will be able to share their realm designs or implement others’ in their Teapot.

Genshin Impact: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises will be rolled out on November 2. The game is available now and is free to play on PC, PS5, PS4, iOS, and Android devices.
