Splatoon 3 is one of the more highly-anticipated games scheduled to come out in 2022. The last title, which came out in 2017, was one of the biggest successes on the Nintendo Switch, and as a result, many want to see what this new game has to offer. The good news for them is that they won’t have to wait too much longer to find out, as the first event for the game will be the Spaltfest World Premiere this Saturday.
However, Nintendo has decided to up the ante, revealing on Twitter that a special Splatoon 3 Nintendo Treehouse Live will be held on Thursday and will break down the game on an even deeper level than prior showcases. According to the tweet below, we’ll be getting a deeper look at the singleplayer mode and the Splatfest stages!
Harvestella is also going to be shown off at the Nintendo Treehouse Live.
It’s clear that Nintendo is using this Treehouse event to try and get people more excited for all things Splatoon. The company likely wants to get as many people as possible to participate in this weekend’s SplatFest ahead of the game’s full release on September 9th.
Due to the recent Direct, gamers know exactly what they can expect from the third installment, and excitement is at a fever pitch. Character customization is set to be much more in-depth than in past installments, and players will have their own locker in the online lobby that can be decorated and shown off to other players. New stages will be added, with more coming in future free updates. There will also be paid DLC, though no details have been released about this addition so far.
