Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for yet more treats this month as the new additions to the Game Pass library have been revealed. The latest titles making their way to the Xbox subscription service include one of Ubisoft’s big tactical shooters and a day one release of a pretty novel-looking university management sim.
Heading up the list of new additions is Ghost Recon Wildlands, which is available today as the first of the new entries into the Game Pass catalogue. A massively open-world military-style shooter that runs in third-person perspective, Ghost Recon Wildlands is the latest in a line of epic Ubisoft additions to Game Pass, after the likes of Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 5 and Assassin’s Creed Origins in recent months.
August 4 will see the addition of the programming-based puzzle game Shenzen I/O and the arcade-style sports racer Turbo Golf Racing. Shenzen I/O will only be available on PC, whereas Turbo Golf Racing will be playable on all three of the Xbox-supported platforms of cloud, PC and console.
Launching as a day one release on Game Pass is Two Point Campus, a brand new management sim that tasks players with building and running their dream university campus. The game will feature a number of engaging tycoon-style tasks and challenges during the academic year, which we were treated to a preview of last month. Two Point Campus will be launching for cloud, PC and console on August 9. Following it up will be Cooking Simulator for cloud, console and PC on August 11. Launching on the same day but only on PC will be the historical and political turn-based RPG Expeditions: Rome and Offworld Trading Company, an economy-based RTS game set in space.
These games will be filling the early part of the August roster, but it could be that we see some further additions to the lineup later into the month. Either way, there’s plenty for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to sink their teeth into this summer.
