If that Jak and Daxter HD Collection announcement didn't tickle your fancy, perhaps this one is more up your street. Devil May Cry is to get a HD collection early next year containing the first three games in the series.
Hop, jump, swipe and skip your way through each of the cult classics in an attempt to wipe out as many bad guys as possible, while looking as damn cool as you can while you're at it. That's right, not just cool – DAMN cool.
The collection will contain Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition and will release on both 360 and PS3, will support HD resolution and contain trophies and achievements. The collection will retail in the states at the budget price of $39.99, not bad for three classic games.
The important thing, at least for me, is that I'll get to replay Devil May Cry 2 and find out whether or not my assertion that it contains no story is true or not. I seem to remember checking my disk for scratches because I could have sworn I was missing out on cutscenes or something, I had no idea what was happening.
