Players who haven’t yet tried out the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Vanguard can take advantage of a new free-play week starting from tomorrow. A new update on the official Call of Duty blog has revealed that both its multiplayer and zombies modes in Call of Duty: Vanguard will be free to play from tomorrow, July 20 until July 26.
The week-long free play session will unlock tomorrow at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM BST/7 PM CEST for players on all platforms. Call of Duty: Vanguard’s multiplayer playlists and modes, which include more than 20 different playable maps, will all be unlocked as part of the free play event. These will include the most recent additions to the popular FPS game, such as the latest season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune content. The ever-popular Zombies playlists will also be available to all during the free play week.
This will give players a chance to revisit a much-loved classic with the Shi No Numa round-based zombie mode, which was reintroduced to Call of Duty: Vanguard last month as part of season 4. In addition to traipsing the swamps in Shi No Numa, in this horde-based action mode, players will also have the opportunity to try out one of the brand new maps that were most recently added into Vanguard as part of the Mercenaries of Fortune update. This is the USS Texas 1945 map, which takes players aboard the titular vessel for a close-quarters showdown on the high seas. Additionally, players can jump into another newly-introduced challenge in the Blueprint Gun Game, which tasks players with progressing through 18 different weapon blueprints in order to emerge victorious.
