Rise of the Tomb Raider Confirmed for January PC Launch

January 5, 2016 by Stephen Daly

A standard and deluxe version of the game will be available.

Square Enix has announced that the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on January 28th, a Thursday.

Game Informer reports that two editions of the game are available; the standard version costs $59.99, while a digital deluxe version including the game's season pass costs $89.99.

The latter is said to include “nearly all current and future DLC,” but there's no information at present with regard to what isn't included.

PC players will have 4K resolution support and a number of upgrades and extras which have yet to be confirmed.

Both Amazon and Steam have previously suggested late January launches for the game.

Hopefully this also means PS4 players will be able to get their hands on Lara's latest adventure sooner than expected. Microsoft announced yesterday that Rise of the Tomb Raider has sold more than one million units on Xbox 360 and Xbox One to date, precise sales figures were not disclosed.
