Rise Of The Tomb Raider May Launch On PC In January

December 27, 2015 by Carlos Chism

This backs up earlier statements made by Square Enix.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to the PC in January, according to the game’s Steam Store page. The title’s availability is listed on the page as January 2016. No official launch date has been given by either Crystal Dynamics or Square Enix, but this listing backs up Square Enix’s original comments that the Windows version of the game would launch in “early 2016.”

Those same comments also noted that the console exclusivity would last one year, meaning we probably won’t see the PlayStation 4 version of the game until November of 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider launched last month only on Xbox One to critical acclaim. However, there has been solid evidence the game didn’t sell well, and Microsoft even issued a statement about the game’s sales numbers earlier this month.

If you own an Xbox One, you can get Rise of the Tomb Raider now. If you own a PC, it looks like you may not have to wait much longer.
