Halo 5 Cartographer’s Gift Update Now Available

343 Industries has just launched the Cartographer's Gift update for its Xbox One-exclusive FPS, Halo 5: Guardians.

The new update is completely free and adds the long-awaited Forge mode, allowing players to build their own arenas and maps to fight in. The update also includes two new assassinations, and a ton of fresh Reqs to unlock.

The update, which is a mandatory install to play online, will automatically download the next time you launch the game.

Cartographer's Gift is the game's second major update, following Battle of Shadow and Light, released last month. The game will be updated again next month with new weapon skins, among other new content.

343 Industries has plans to update the game at least until June 2016. More details about the new update can be found here.
