There’s a new adversary mode for Grand Theft Auto Online, called Every Bullet Counts, and it’s available now. The mode is a variant on Last Man Standing, putting four players together in a small space to compete. Each combatant will have only one marksman pistol and two bullets to eliminate the other three opponents. Once that ammo is up, the only option left will be the hatchet, or melee attacks. Players’ locations will also be revealed on the map if they stay still for more than five seconds, so constant movement is encouraged.
As reported by IGN, the new mode brings a couple new locations along with it, including Michael’s Rockford Hills mansion and the Tequi-la-la nightclub. This is similar to other Last Man Standing modes seen in games like Call of Duty.
Some other recent additions to Grand Theft Auto Online include the American Football with cars mode “Runner Back”, no doubt inspired by Rocket League, and the hefty heists DLC that appeared earlier this year. Take Two Interactive has also shut down GTA 5 modding projects with legal action.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in September 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and again last year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
