With two weeks to go until launch, Electronic Arts has revealed a few details about the DLC pass. Last month the company announced pricing for Star Wars: Battlefront and unveiled the $50 DLC pass. In a recent press conference about earnings, EA COO Peter Moore explained that there will be four expansion packs in the next 12-18 months. "You'll see new universes, you're gonna see new player actions, obviously new weaponry as well," said Moore. EA has said that official details about the DLC pass are forthcoming. Moore did not reveal concrete details on the game's sales performance thus far.
Xbox One players with an EA Access membership save 10% on Battlefront-related purchases, bringing the price down to $45. If you're already enticed by the prospects of the DLC pass and don't want to wait until launch, EA is giving an exclusive sneak peek to those who pre-order the game. As previously reported, players will get to experience the world of Jakku, featured in the upcoming film, a week earlier than its official release on December 1.
Battlefront will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17. Without the DLC, the game costs $60 ($54 for EA Access members). The movie hits theaters December 17.
