Mafia II Release Date Announced!

2K games reveals the release date for Mafia II in Europe and North America

2K games has announced the release date for the highly anticipated sequel to it’s Mafia game, Mafia II. Mafia II will be releasing on August 24, 2010 in North America(US and Canada) and August 27, 2010 in Europe(UK, Germany, Spain, France etc.)

Mafia II puts the players in the shoes of World War II Veteran Vito Scaletta, the son of Sicilian immigrants. As the game progresses Vitio encounters gangs in Empire Bay’s(a fictional city) Mafia underbelly. The game is a sand box open-ended third person shooter and will be released simultaneously on the PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360.
