Blizzard has dropped hints that StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is leaving beta and officially releasing soon.
The beta has been live for months, but the developer has revealed plans to end it very soon. Blizzard will be streaming via Twitch on September 13, where they will be revealing the release date.
Along with this will be the debut of a cinematic trailer, as well as the end of the StarCraft 2 WCS Season 3 Finals live from Poland. Blizzard’s senior developers will also be on hand to confirm what fans can expect from the final release.
An insider hinted that Blizzard would be releasing the game this year, but truth be told, this really isn’t a surprise. Blizzard has done a good job updating on the game incrementally, including the pending release of the mission prologue, Whispers of Oblivion, for free.
