The PlayStation Plus lineup for May 2022 has leaked ahead of the official announcement. This leak comes from the French website Dealabs, which has a strong track record for leaking PlayStation Plus games every month. The games coming to the service in May 2022 should make many players happy. And even if you don’t like these games, they are free-to-play so it costs nothing to try them out.
The games joining PlayStation Plus in May 2022 are FIFA 22 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Tribes of Midgard also on both consoles, and Curse of the Dead Gods only on PlayStation 4.
It is the first time Sony is offering a FIFA game to PlayStation Plus subscribers. And not just any FIFA game: the latest one, FIFA 22. If many football fans already purchased the game, FIFA 22 is a nice addition to PlayStation Plus. It doesn’t feature many new options compared to the previous entries in the series, but all new FIFA content is coming exclusively to this title. It also features the latest version of the popular Fifa Ultimate Team mode and all related esports competitions.
Tribes of Midgard is a survival game set in Norse mythology. With up to 10 players, your goal is to protect your village against the various mythical creatures threatening Midgard. The game begins by dropping you and your friends into a procedurally generated world, with nothing in your pockets to defend yourself against the deadly spirits and gigantic brutes roaming the lands. You will have to gather resources to build and expand your village and survive the nightly assault of various enemies.
The last game joining PlayStation Plus in May 2022 is Curse of the Dead Gods. Unlike FIFA 22 and Tribes of Midgard, this game will only be available on PlayStation 4. Curse of the Dead Gods is a roguelite game where you have to explore a dark temple filled with endless corridors and secret rooms. And of course, there are plenty of traps lying around to kill you. Otherwise, it would be too easy to steal the riches hidden in this cursed temple.
Sony should confirm whether or not these games will join the PlayStation Plus lineup for May 2022 in the upcoming days.
