The tweet translates roughly to: “A sketch has been sent by the researcher. I don’t think I’ve seen this before, I wonder if it was sent by mistake. Something seems a little different…” Can you spot the difference?
Different, indeed. It’s nothing extremely unsettling or anything like that, it’s just… a bit strange to see an Octoling without a mask on. We highly doubt it’s a mistake, though. Could it be that Nintendo might have caved under pressure and finally made the Octolings playable? People have been begging (and even hacking the game) to make Octolings playable, so maybe – just maybe! – it’s happening. The Splatoon devs did say they were thinking of ways to keep players from getting tired of the game…
