Lords of the Fallen Dev’s Sci-fi Action RPG to be Revealed at gamescom

July 20, 2015 by Stephen Daly

But don’t expect any gameplay footage.

Lords of the Fallen developer Deck13 will revealed more details about their upcoming currently-untitled action RPG at gamescom next month, publisher Focus Home Interactive has announced.

The title will offer "innovative combat mechanics and an original character progression system based on modular upgrades gained through tight, visceral combat", and is set for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2017.

However, Deck13 will not be bringing any gameplay footage to the show for the public, instead revealing information behind closed doors "via interviews with some of the core team at the show".

The game was initially teased last month with the image you can see above, showing a character holding what appears to be a Gears of War-inspired chainsaw gun.

Focus claims the title "will be one of the most exciting RPGs to come in the future".

Deck13 previously developed Lords of the Fallen with City Interactive.
