Microsoft has revealed that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be offered as part of an Xbox One bundle for $349 starting August 25th.
Announced at San Diego Comic-Con by Rod Fergusson of developer The Coalition, the bundle will be sold through select retailers, including Microsoft stores, and offers a 500GB Xbox One console, a wireless controller and headset jack, and a code to download Ultimate Edition.
Early access to the Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta in 2016 and the Superstar Cole multiplayer skin are also included, along with a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.
It was recently confirmed that the Ultimate Edition will require 44GB of free space on your Xbox One or external storage, almost seven times more than the original Xbox 360 game.
Those who opt to download the game will be able to do so in advance, but must wait until release to play.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was unveiled by Microsoft during E3 and is a complete remaster of the original game, running at 1080p and 60fps. The shooter will be released on PC, but a launch date for that platform has not yet been announced.
