Gears of War developer The Coalition has announced Gears of War: Ultimate Edition today at Microsoft's E3 press conference.
The Ultimate Edition features the original game at 1080p and 60fps for Xbox One and a week long public beta begins today for the title.
The game will be released on August 25th and mark the 10th anniversary year of the original's launch. Gears of War 4 was also announced during the show today – that title will launch during the holiday 2016 period.
Those who buy the Ultimate Edition will receive early access to the Gears of War 4 beta next year, Microsoft has announced.
