Sony started off its E3 press conference strong, bringing back the long awaited Last Guardian, and making a good show of Horizon: Zero Dawn. Earlier this year, they teased a new entry to the Hitman series, saying they’d be releasing more details this year. The wait is over, as the world premiere of Hitman kicked off at E3:
“Agent 47 returns in the most ambitious Hitman ever created,” said Sony’s Asad Qizilbash. The newest entry to the series boasts an ever-expanding world that is set to continue growing and evolving over time. Players will get to go to exotic locales and go after high-profile targets in this massive world.
Hitman could’ve been announced at another press conference, but here’s where things get a little more interesting: There will be a beta period exclusively for PlayStation 4, for those who pre-order the game. Not only that, but there will be six unique contracts also exclusive to PS4 after the game has been launched. It looks like PlayStation really is where you can experience Hitman to the fullest.
Good to have you back, Agent 47. See you on December 8.
