New Hitman News Coming this Year

Hitman developer IO Interactive will announce new information about an upcoming sequel this year.

Asked about news on a future game, the official Hitman Twitter account commented: 

@kirolos55 There's more info coming this year and we can't wait to share it!

IO and publisher Square Enix have been teasing a new entry in the franchise for sometime, but there has been no concrete news on a sequel to 2012's Absolution.

There were rumours this time last year that the game had been cancelled, which might explain why they've been so quiet on a sequel. 

Hopefully we'll have information on the game soon.
