When Bandai Namco tweeted that we ought to watch yesterday's Nintendo Direct, more than a few people assumed we would hear more news regarding Pokken Tournament. Though we caught wind of an untitled FTP game known as "Project Treasure" and a new Ace Combat for 3DS, Pokken news was sorely lacking.
That all changes on January 23, when a special Pokken Tournament presentation will be conducted on Japanese video site Niconico. We may learn about addition playable fighters aside from Lucario and Machamp, possibly even a proper release window! And maybe, Bandai Namco will finally confirm that Wii U port that we all know is coming.
Pokken Tournament is set to hit Japanese arcades later this year. A global release has yet to be announced.
