Second Wave of amiibo to Arrive December 14

November 24, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Walmart spills the beans in its product listings.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launched on Friday, as did the first 12 amiibo along with it. The amiibo have already proven to be hot items, selling out quickly in most stores. You'll only have to wait until next month before the next figures drop, but perhaps you'd like to know exact day of their arrival. Thanks to Walmart, we have that day: December 14.

Over on Walmart's site, all six Wave 2 amiibo — Diddy Kong, Zelda, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Pit, and Little Mac — are already listed with a pending release date of 12/14/2014. A concerned fan named Kevin tweeted at Walmart, asking if that was the official date, and Walmart confirmed that it is.

If the sales performance of the original 12 is any indication, you'll want to pre-order these as quickly as possible. Then sit tight until next February, when Wave 3 makes landfall.
