Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One and PS4 Resolutions Revealed

November 3, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The game runs at a lower resolution on the Xbox One.

Sledgehammer Games founder Michael Condrey revealed the resolution of both versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare last night in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session with fans of the series.

Speaking on Reddit, Condrey said that the Xbox One’s resolution is 1360×1080, which dynamically scales to full 1080p. In contrast to its Xbox One counterpart, the PlayStation 4 version of the game runs at a native resolution of 1920×1080—or full 1080p.

The game is designed to run on both systems at a solid 60 frames per second, which explains why the Xbox One version, due to its inferior hardware, runs the game at a lower resolution.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out now for Day Zero pre-orders. The game is available in various editions, which have been detailed here along with special deals.
