Destiny’s Tower Recreated in Minecraft

September 8, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The Tower was built using the Halo mash-up texture pack.

Destiny launches tonight (it's already out in New Zealand and Australia) and while there's still time to go before release in Europe and North America, why not check out the game's Tower recreated in Minecraft?

The Tower is Destiny's hub area where guardians go between missions to receive messages, shop, and hang out with other players. Considering Destiny is a Bungie game, it's appropriate that YouTuber Quincy Ven Hilst made the Tower using the Halo texture mash-up pack in the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Included is the Tower's main courtyard area, the hanger, and the hub's shops. You can check out the tower in the video below.

It was confirmed today that Destiny is the most pre-ordered game in history and Bungie announced on Friday that those who buy the digital version of the game on PS3 or Xbox 360 will get the PS4 or Xbox One version for free until mid-January.
