The Sims 4 is all about creating interesting characters and have them explore exciting scenarios but you can also have live normal, mundane lives. Lives featuring pancakes.
Describing the main Sim in the trailer, EA says he's the "most least interesting Sim in the world". Aside from pancakes we see the Sim hitting the gym, sitting alone at a party, and drinking coffee. Riveting.
The point of course, is to make clear that you can play any way you want. EA says, "The Sims you’ll make and meet are full of life, with new emotions and unique personalities. Create and control your own stories" when the game launches.
