The Sims 4: New Gameplay Trailer Gets All Emotional

July 30, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Your Sims will be smarter than ever according to Maxis.

EA has released a new trailer for The Sims 4 which delves into their emotions though it isn't the only EA game to get in touch with its sensitive side lately.

The video showcases some of the options which are available such as boredom, inspiration, confidence, and embarrassment. EA says:

"For the first time, you control your Sims’ emotions. With big personalities defined by their traits, aspirations, skills, and emotions, the possibilities are greater than ever."

Your Sims are also smarter than even which explains why they will no longer fix a TV by hitting it with a hammer. The trailer is below and there's also a gallery of screenshots from the video.

The Sims 4 developer Maxis recently revealed the minimum system requirements for the game and has said that low level systems will be able to handle the game much more smoothly than The Sims 3. The studio also seems to be working on a sandbox crafting game in the mould of LittleBigPlanet and Minecraft.

The Sims 4 launches on PC and Mac on September 2nd.
