EA and Maxis are headed to Cologne, Germany next month for gamescom and bringing many of their major upcoming games, including The Sims 4, to the show.
The news was confirmed on the game's German Facebook page while on the EA gamescom website, the publisher wrote:
"Once again, we will be at the world’s biggest annual convention for interactive games: gamescom. From 13 to 17 August 2014, we will be presenting our hottest titles for the upcoming season – FIFA 15, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Dawngate."
EA usually hosts a press conference at gamescom and says that those who can't attend the show will be able to keep up to date with new videos, developer interviews, and screenshots being posted online.
While Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield Hardline were both delayed last night, The Sims 4 is on track to launch for PC and Mac on September 2nd and we should have the system requirements for the game "soon" – Maxis says lower end PCs will be able to run the game far better than The Sims 3.
Meanwhile, SimLogical forum members have proven that animation mods are possible in The Sims 4, replacing the Lazy Trait animation with one that well, is a little Rude. Check it out below.
