A post on the PlayStation blog revealed that the PlayStation Now private beta on the PlayStation 4 will be starting tomorrow on May 20th.
"PS Now gives you the freedom to play select PS3 games like you already stream movies, TV, shows, and music – directly to your favorite PS Now compatible devices without any discs or downloads. The first supported devices launching in 2014 are PS4, PS3, select 2014 Bravia TVs, and PlayStation Vita, with more devices down the road," the post recaps the service.
It was not revealed if people who participated in the private beta for the PS3 will automatically gain access to the one starting tomorrow. The post only mentions that the prerequisite is that one is registered for the private beta.
The company also boasted the fact that over 50,000 gameplay hours have been logged in by their private beta testers. However, that doesn't mean people have missed out on their chance to participate. The company is planning to expand the private beta on the PS3 to broader audiences in the near future. People can still register for the chance to participate since they are inviting players on a regular basis.
