Bethesda is a massive video game development company and when they announce something people are quick to take notice. Recently, the company makes a big announcement regarding one of their studios, MachineGames. If you didn’t catch it, the studio that was behind the recent Wolfenstein reboot franchise is working on an Indiana Jones video game.
Indiana Jones will have a brand new original story from MachineGames and Bethesda’s Todd Howard has been confirmed to be taking an executive producer role in the project. We don’t know anything about this Indiana Jones game quite yet as it was just unveiled. There’s no word on if we’ll see this game feature somewhere within the cinematic universe or if we’ll see Harrison Ford step back into the role and lend his voice for the character.
However, others have seen the news and started to express concern about this project taking Todd Howard away from other notable projects fans are waiting for such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6. Both games were announced already but no information about what we can expect have yet to make their way out into the market. Despite this, it looks like we don’t have anything to worry about when it comes to these video games.
Pete Hines, the vice president of Bethesda recently replied to a user on Twitter bringing up the recent announcement of Todd Howard being involved with this latest project. According to Pete Hines, Todd Howard is the executive producer for several projects including the Fallout TV show that’s in the works. These projects won’t be affecting anything regarding other games in development such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6.
