4A Games has confirmed that they are making a new Metro Redux compilation for the latest generation of consoles, but drops a little disclaimer.
4A points out that they have been talking about making such a compilation for some time now, but have not made any official announcements since the details have not yet been fully ironed out yet. In plain terms, the leak involved information that is already outdated. 4A also teases what they will eventually officially reveal this coming E3 will be even more exciting.
In specific, what was leaked had a lot of placeholder material and prospective, but unconfirmed, ideas.
So, in spite of the confirmation, we have to come into this one with a caveat emptor, but at least it’s not the kind that will make fans doubt themselves. So, for those of you who had legitimate concerns about what 4A has been doing all this time, no need to fret! We’ll keep you up to date when more information comes out soon. You really won't have to wait long.
