Spinter Cell Conviction director Patrick Redding left Ubisoft Toronto earlier this month to join Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Montreal for an unannounced game project.
The move was first spotted by Superannuation and Redding's Twitter bio and LinkedIn profile have both been updated to reflect the move. Redding's new job description is creative director of Warner Bros. Montreal.
He has previously worked on Splinter Cell Blacklist and was Far Cry 2's narrative designer.
It's unknown what Warner Bros. Montreal is currently developing as the Batman: Arkham franchise has been handed back to Rocksteady who are presently working on Batman: Arkham Knight which they insist will be the end of the franchise. It's possible Warner Bros. are looking to expand on Batman games outside of the Arkham universe.
Ubisoft Toronto meanwhile is working on five games of which only Assassin's Creed Unity has been confirmed. Ubisoft is also believed to be developing Far Cry 4 and a new Splinter Cell seems likely.
