PlayStation 3 owners who pre-order Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes before March 20th will unlock a free copy of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Sony has announced on the European PlayStation Blog.
Peace Walker stars Big Boss in the run up to the events of Ground Zeroes when he founded his own military group, the Militaires Sans Frontières, and by playing Peace Walker you'll gain access to the backdrop to Metal Gear Solid 5.
Some retailers have already sold copies of Ground Zeroes ahead of its release date later this month but neither producer Hideo Kojima or publisher Konami seem particularly annoyed by this breach of the game's street date, they've asked that those who have managed to nab a copy early keep the details to themselves.
The game will look best on PS4 by all accounts but unfortunately, the Peace Walker pre-order deal isn't available on that system. It was rumoured yesterday that Ground Zeroes will have a PS3 install file measuring just 1.94GB and you can check out the game's achievements here.
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is also releasing on Xbox 360 and Xbox One while Kojima has said that he would like to bring the game to PC as well.
