A release date for the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be announced "very soon" publisher Bandai Namco has said.
The news accompanies the release of Dark Souls 2's TV and cinema commercial which you can see below. FromSoftware's game is set for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 14th and will be released on PC "soon after."
FromSoftware has not yet considered releasing the game on PS4 or Xbox One while "Wii U never came up." Emails from Amazon seem to suggest that Dark Souls 2 will be released on PC in late March.
Producer Takeshi Miyazoe told Edge in December that Namco and FromSoftware were aware of the poor PC port of the original game, and added that the sequel will be better on the platform.
"For Dark Souls 2 we are developing on PC from the beginning. We realise what PC games typically require, and I can assure you that the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be a good PC experience for PC gamers."
