Ubisoft has just released Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD on the PlayStation 3. The high definition update of 2012’s Vita game, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, is also set for release on the Xbox 360 and Steam at a price of $19.99. A free trial is also available on the Microsoft console.
The game stars the series’ first female protagonist, Aveline, and is set in and around New Orleans in 1765. Players can take on the role of a slave, royal, and assassin.
The new version of the game features high-definition graphics, remastered music, better gameplay refinements, and all new missions.
In addition to the release of Liberation, we are likely to see a new Assassin’s Creed mainline release sometime later this year.
