2020 is a big year for the video game industry. We had the anticipated launches of Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Resident Evil 3 Remake. Likewise, we’re still eagerly awaiting to get our hands on some of the other big-name releases such as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part 2. Unfortunately, for the latter of the two, The Last of Us Part 2 was hit with some pretty big road bumps. The actual health pandemic going around had forced this game to get put on hold for a small duration of time in order to ensure that Sony could ship units of the game into certain markets. This might have been a big blow for the fans who have been eagerly awaiting the launch of The Last of Us Part 2 but another big blowback hurt developers as well.
After waiting several years and with developers putting years of work into the video game, a major incident happens which resulted in individuals leaking the plot points of the video game narrative. It’s allowed fans who would like to know what happens a chance to read through the synopsis before the game launches and unfortunately, it allows trolls to comment on the spoilers everywhere. For those that are wanting to avoid any spoilers, it’s become a task to navigate the internet.
These trolls have been posting the spoilers everywhere so it’s going to be a difficult stretch of time to endure before you’re able to really get a chance to devour the story on your own terms. If you are trying to avoid anything unofficial attached to the game, then you can at least mark your calendars for tomorrow as Naughty Dog will have a new official teaser.
Apparently, another trailer is scheduled to go out tomorrow as indicated by date and time from the official Naughty Dog Twitter account. We, of course, don’t know what to expect from this trailer, but we’re likely going to receive some more narrative to help give a bit more insight into the story you’ll get when the title launches. Speaking of the launch date, The Last of Us Part 2 will be releasing on June 19, 2020, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
