Gran Turismo 6 fansite GT Acrade has details of Update 1.03 which they say will be released "imminently".
The two main changes coming as part of 1.03 are an overhaul of the game's community features:
"Players can create their own clubs, communicate with one another in the forums and organise race events for their members. It is possible to select from a private racing club, and a public racing club that is open to everyone. This feature will be added in a future update."
And the addition of Quick Matches:
"This mode is for those who want to get in and race online right away. Matching is performed according to preset regulations, and the race will start when there are enough participants. This feature will be added in a future update."
While unconfirmed, fans are hoping Update 1.03 will include Course Maker, GPS Visualizer, and B-Spec. Players also hope that future patches will improve the sound of the game's vehicles so they sound more realistic.
Gran Turismo 6 has been available since December 6th on PS3 and Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi has said that a sequel could be released for PS4 as early as this year.
