The Mass Effect series is best known for its characters. Its fanbase crosses over to Dragon Age, which is also developed by the same studio—BioWare.
To that end, DeviantART user AndrewRyanArt has been giving makeovers to the cast of the Mass Effect franchise to make them fit into the world of Dragon Age. We previously showcased his work here on Gameranx, where we featured a piece of his artwork with all the main characters from Mass Effect transposed into Dragon Age’s medieval-fantasy setting.
Lately, he’s done a few more pieces of artwork depicting male Shepard, Garrus, and Kaidan Alenko as Inquisitors in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Winter 2014 and should be a "big hit" according to EA's chief financial officer. You can watch 30 minutes of gameplay footage here.
On the other end of the aisle, the next Mass Effect does not have a confirmed release window or launch platforms but BioWare showed off some images last month. It's unlikely that Commander Shepard or any of the other characters will star in Mass Effect 4 which appears to be a sequel.
