Duncan Heaney Web Content Editor at Square Enix took to the PlayStation blog to bring some very exciting news for the highly anticipated remake title, Final Fantasy 7!
Yes, as you read from the headline, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is recieiving its first demo, and its available to download starting today! For PlayStation 4 members, this will be your first chance to try out the game in the comfort of your own home. The demo will showcase a ton of gameplay, and is pretty lengthy as well, so this is the perfect time to try out the game before its official release next month!
What’s included in the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo?
- The new demo features a lengthy segment from the very beginning of the game: the iconic bombing mission against the Shinra Electric Power Company, and the subsequent escape.
- You’ll control two of the game’s cast – spiky-haired ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife, and the ballistically-limbed Barret Wallace – and enact a dangerous plan to infiltrate and destroy Mako Reactor 1.
- It’s a very large complex, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore, find secrets, soak in the richly detailed environments and, of course, bash Shinra Security troopers with a giant sword.
In related news, Square Enix recently released an iconic moments trailer for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
The previously released brand new trailer was released today in order to celebrate the 23rd-anniversary date of when the original Final Fantasy VII title launched. This new trailer features the song Hollow by Nobuo Uematsu and throughout the trailer, we get glimpses of the game including some iconic moments like Cloud posing in a dress.
