When it comes to Quantic Dream the studio has been around for years and it was only recently that they gained funding to step away from delivering just PlayStation exclusives. With NetEase investing in the studio, Quantic Dream was able to bring out the last three big hits from the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 for the PC platform. Now with the ability to publish, it seems that Quantic Dream has some big plans on how they progress forward and a recent tweet suggests that this year should have plenty of surprises.
David Cage, the head of Quantic Dreams, recently took to Twitter as a belated celebratory tweet for the New Year. Included in his message was alerting fans that while 2019 was an amazing year for the studio, 2020 should be even more exciting. With surprises awaiting fans, there is no word on just what we can expect.
However, the last phrase in the tweet tells fans to be deviant, a reference to Detroit: Become Human. This has led some to assume that we may see some type of DLC for the video game though with the title being the latest to release on the PC platform, it could simply be a nod towards its release. Still, we’re uncertain what this means at the moment, but we should get some news from the development studio soon.
2020 is a solid year to start preparing games for the upcoming platforms as well due to both PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Regardless, for now, we’ll have to wait and see just what the studio has planned for this year and if we would see the studio divert to different genres for their upcoming releases.
