- Full December Roadmap
IO Interactive took to their blog to announce the full roadmap plans for Hitman 2 for the month of December and if you’re a fan of the game, this update will be super fun!
The developers have been pretty great when it comes to bringing new free content to the critically acclaimed title, and for the past couple of months we’ve been seeing themed roadmaps being released. There is no surprise that the month of December is filled with new Santa suits, escalations, and more for players to dabble in.

In addition to releasing the trailer showcasing the December roadmap in action, they also detailed the full set of plans. So if you want to see what’s coming on what days, make sure to check out the full plans down below!
Check out the full Hitman 2 roadmap for December down below:
December 5 / Escalation
Safety is important. It prevents accidents, injury and potentially death. Try telling that to 47.
December 5 / Escalation
The Raaz Algorithm takes 47 to the Mumbai trainyard for a stealth-based Escalation.
December 6 / Legacy Elusive Target
Everyone’s favourite celebrity chef has returned to Paris – and your job is to make sure he’s had his final meal.
December 12 / Escalation
A second Escalation in Mumbai this month takes 47 to Rangan Tower. More safety officers will have a bad day.
December 12 / 12 Days of Contracts
This month’s Featured Contracts are themed around – – wait what?
For this month, Curated Contracts return with the “12 Days of Contracts”, a community initiative that started on Hitman Forum and will be live to play on December 12. Some of the top contract creators in the Hitman community have created a holiday-themed contract each and we’ve collected them together into this month’s new contracts.
December 17 / Holiday Hoarders (Legacy)
It wouldn’t be December in HITMAN without Holiday Hoarders – and 2019 is no different. Whether you’re home alone or travelling with the family, Holiday Hoarders will provide all the classic entertainment that you need. You can keep the change.
December 17 / Hokkaido Snow Festival (Legacy)
Celebrate the Winter season at the HITMAN 2 Snow Festival in Hokkaido and throw snowballs at your target!
The Snow Festival will be a permanent addition to the game and players can unlock the Snow Festival Suit Icepick at their leisure.
December 17 / Escalation
The Rafael Misadventure is an aptly named Escalation that takes you to Isle of Sgail where you’ll need to eliminate your targets in accidental ways.
December 17 / Legacy Escalation Contract
Bring your battle axes.
The very first Escalation Contract to have three stages comes to HITMAN 2. Created by well-known community member and Hitman player TheKotti, this paradigm is all about the battle axe. We’ve kept the original conditions intact and expect the new additions for HITMAN 2 to have an impact on some strategies for this one.
December 20 / Elusive Target
Our final piece of new content for the year comes with an Elusive Target. The Stowaway has some unique behaviour – all depending on your own behaviour – so we advise taking your time and observing before making a move.
The Stowaway will have an extended runtime over the holiday season from December 20 to January 6.
December 17 / IOI Monthly #10
Our holiday-themed episode of IOI Monthly is also a milestone tenth edition. We’ll turn on the cameras and talk through the latest HITMAN 2 news.
IOI Monthly #10 will be live at 4pm CET on Tuesday 17th December.
Tune in on Twitch or Mixer.
Full December Roadmap
In related news, IO Interactive recently hinted at the fact that the developers might be working on the third installment in the franchise. No official word on the matter, however, Hitman 2 has been pretty successful for them so far and with the constant updates, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a third entry in this new rebooted franchise.
