Need for Speed Rivals PS4 Gameplay Reaches Heat Level 4

November 11, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Need for Speed Rivals gameplay captured off a PlayStation 4.

I can't help it comparing both versions, and neither can you.

Ghost Games released a Need for Speed Rivals gameplay video running off the PlayStation 4 console the day after the convenient release of the Xbox One gameplay video.

While the PlayStation 4 gameplay clearly speeds off more than the gameplay found in the Xbox One video, you can barely – if at all – distinguish the graphical differences.

To help narrow the decision of which version to purchase, consider the Xbox One controller and the new Impulse Triggers. The rumbling triggers provide the perfect feedback for racing titles when taking turns of slamming the breaks. The DualShock 4 however, refines its classic design by widening the gap between analog sticks.

Need for Speed Rivals won't release a Wii U version, so Nintendo fans need to look elsewhere for their racing fix.

Need for Speed Rivals launches alongside the PlayStation 4 on November 15. An Xbox One version launches on November 22.
