Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 might not even be available for purchase yet, but that doesn’t mean that Square Enix can’t start doing some serious planning for the future of the series. Final Fantasy 15 is quickly making its way to next-generation consoles, and while it’d be great to see a bit more gameplay from the long-delayed project, the first English voice actor for the RPG has been discovered.
The LinkedIn profile of Jay Preston has let slip his involvement with the massive franchise, but no specific character has been attached to his voice. Preston has previously done work on an iOS game called The Ories and PC game Snark Busters: High Society, but his biggest gigs involved doing promos for DreamWorks Animation and Nokia.
“You will hear Jay’s voice in the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 video game,” reads his website, via NeoGAF.
It’s not Nolan North, but expect to hear the voice of Preston when Final Fantasy 15 releases in the future.
