It came as a shock that development studio Quantic Dream would be bringing over their latest three video game titles to the PC platform. While the developer is not directly tied to Sony and forced to only deliver PlayStation exclusives, the past few titles have remained Sony exclusives. The future is looking brighter for the development studio however as they recently became invested through NetEase, essentially giving them the funds to go out and deliver new video game titles that would not only release on the PlayStation 4 or at this point, the PlayStation 5.
Most would have found that the development studio was looking at new video game title releases, but Quantic Dream confirmed that their last three hits, Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain would receive ports for the PC platform. They will be released exclusively on the Epic Games Store at some point this year and it looks like all three titles will have the same PC specification requirements. Unfortunately, these requirements are hefty if you wish to run the game under the recommended requirements.
Minimum PC Specification Requirements
- Intel i5-2400 3.4GHz or equivalent
- 4GB RAM
- Nvidia GTX 660 or equivalent
- 2GB VRAM
- DirectX 11, Vulkan (Detroit: Become Human)
Recommended PC Specification Requirements
- Intel i7-2700K or equivalent
- 12GB RAM
- Nvidia GTX 1080 or equivalent
- 8GB VRAM
- DirectX 11, Vulkan (Detroit: Become Human)
For now, all we know is that the games will be launching at some point this year. We hope a release date is announced within the next few months but we’ll, of course, keep you up to date on the latest right here on Gameranx.
