Saints Row 4 Still Ahead in UK Charts

September 2, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Three new entries not enough to topple the Saints.

Volition's Saints Row 4 has remained atop the UK charts for the second time in what was a compartively busy week for new releases.

Three new games entered the top 10 with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in third while Rayman Legends launched in sixth place. Madden NFL 25 performed well enough to land seventh.

The previous week saw Saints Row 4, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Disney Infinity, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and The Wonderful 101 released. Saints Row 4 marked the fourth largest launch of the year so far and tied publisher Deep Silver with EA as having the highest number of games – three – take the number one spot this year.

The full UK top 10 for the week are:

  1. Saints Row 4
  2. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
  3. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
  4. Disney Infinity
  5. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
  6. Rayman Legends
  7. Madden NFL 25
  8. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  9. Payday 2
  10. FIFA 13
