Splinter Cell: Blacklist Trailer Discusses Play Styles and Gadgets

Splinter Cell: Blacklist trailer provides all the information needed before launch.

With the release of Splinter Cell: Blacklist only a few weeks away, Ubisoft compiled a video of all major sections you will find in Sam Fisher's latest mission. In a fight against a global terrorist group called the Engineers, Sam Fisher will try to both prevent and contain any projects the Engineers follow through with.

Ubisoft recently divulged information on the three main play styles you can adopt while playing Blacklist. The Ghost will provide the traditional stealth approach the series build itself on while the Assault style abandons the stealth for full frontal attacks. For a hybrid of both styles, the Panther style of play will help Sam eliminate any threats through much more silent, but equally violent methods of the Assault role.

With each style you will need to use gadgets to make the process less impossible. Using gas, sticky bombs, darts and all kinds of lethal and non-lethal equipment, Sam can cruise through any level in a number of ways.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will launch for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC on August 28th.
