Total War: Rome 2 Gameplay Sees Macedonia Take on Rome

August 9, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Latest demo shows an open skirmish battle.

The Creative Assembly has released a new Let's Play video for Total War: Rome 2 showing Macedonian forces take on the might of Rome.

Communications manager Al Bickham leads the Macedonian forces on Very Hard difficulty in a straight-up, open terrain skirmish match as the defending side. Who emerges victorious? Watch the above video to find out.

Sega has announced that the game will be released worldwide on September 3rd. If you pre-order the game you'll get access to the Greek Culture Pack which unlock three extra factions for use in the game – bringing the total to 12. The game is already the most pre-ordered title in the franchise to date.

For more on Rome 2: Total War, check out these other gameplay and campaign trailers which focus on Carthage. If that's not enough for you, there's even more game footage to be found here.

To make sure your PC can run the game you can find the minimum and recommended specs here.
