Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 Features Two Discs

October 18, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Could we see Red Dead Redemption 2 on multiple discs?

One of the most anticipated video game titles to launch this year is slowly reaching its release date. We’re of course talking about Red Dead Redemption 2, a video game that was highly anticipated about since Red Dead Redemption launched back in 2010. Now nearly a decade later, we’re getting a brand new installment that takes place prior to the events of Red Dead Redemption, where gamers will step into the role of Arthur Morgan.  Overall, Arthur Morgan is part of the Dutch Van der Linde gang which is on the run from the law.

This is also said to be a rather massive video game as well with players being able to freely explore and take on quests to help flesh out this gritty Wild West world. It was also revealed that the game would exceed a 100 GB of storage space on the PlayStation 4 with the Xbox One version not trailing far behind at nearly 90 GB of required storage.

With all this storage space required, it wouldn’t come to a surprise to see the video game launch into the market on two discs. Apparently, a leak from Japan states that the game will come with multiple discs leaving gamers curious as to if this game will feature two discs at launch for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, there is no official word just yet on if this game would sport two discs or not.

So according to my Google Japanese Red Dead Redemption 2 will be on 2 discs https://t.co/6sYOtDIjlr

In other news, Rockstar Games recently unveiled that gamers can expect over fifty different weapons to choose from within the game. Most of which can be customized both in terms of visuals and statistic upgrades to make the weapon a bit more powerful than the standard stock purchase.

Currently, Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this October 26, 2018.
