One of the most anticipated video game titles that are set to launch later this month is still finding new details released into the market. Red Dead Redemption 2 is easily one the most hyped video game titles of 2018 and now that we are just a couple weeks away from its launch, Rockstar Games continues to release new information for players to digest. This latest news comes in form of the different weapons and customization options that players will have.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will have over fifty different weapons to choose from and a number of those weapons will be available for customization. Of course, being set in the old west, players will see a number of different rifles and revolvers, a few of which were showcased in an old-timey newspaper ad, all of which can be viewed in the gallery below.
These weapons will also need maintenance over time so while you roam the open world, it’s best that you keep a look at your guns to make sure they are maintained and working. We’re uncertain if this means that stats will start to lower or if the gun will no longer function. At any rate, if you’re looking to make some upgrades or customizations to a weapon then you’ll be delighted to know that you can do both in various areas.
Players will be able to make visual upgrades such as changing out metals, engravings, woods, and varnishes. Likewise, there are various new scopes, barrels, and grips that will help in terms of performance of a weapon.
Currently, Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch on October 26, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
