ElectronicTheatre has acquired the fact sheet for Kingdom Hearts 3 which was announced at Sony's pre-E3 media briefing last month.
The fact sheet confirms Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One and states, "Kingdom Hearts marked its tenth anniversary last year, and development on Kingdom Hearts 3 has officially commenced. Kingdom Hearts 3 is the latest installment in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and the first core sequel since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released in 2006 in Europe and North America."
In the game a "mature" Sora will embark on a new adventure which will make "full use" to the PS4 and Xbox One's technologies to create "an entertainment experience with a grand story of unparalleled scale."
The game also promises "gameplay that can only be experienced in Kingdom Hearts!"
Sora and friends must seek out seven guardians of light to defeat Master Xehanort. As with all Kingdom Hearts games Disney worlds and characters will be heavily present throughout.
No release date for the game has yet been announced.
