Super Smash Bros Ultimate was first teased back in March of this year and since then fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting any and all new information to be released for the game. Likewise, E3 2018 also proved to showcase plenty of information for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Not only did we get the official title name but it was revealed that all previous characters from the franchise will be included in the roster.
This meant that players would have the biggest Super Smash Bros roster to date when the game officially launches towards the end of this year. However, it seemed that Nintendo wasn’t done adding characters either as both Inklings from Splatoon and Metroid’s Ridley have been previously announced as well.
Currently, a new Nintendo Direct has been scheduled to highlight the upcoming Super Smash Bros Ultimate release. This event will be taking place on August 8, 2018, at 7 a.m. PST though it will likely be saved to be viewed at a later date. We’ll, of course, keep you posted on the very latest here, but right now we don’t have any real indication as to what info will be talked about in particular.
Gamers online are started to chime in with their own hopes and speculations such as even more new characters being included into the mix. Others are more interested in how some of the characters will play mechanic wise.
Regardless, we’ll have to wait until the Nintendo Direct airs to see just what Nintendo has in store for us. As for when the game will officially release, Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be available on the Nintendo Switch this December 7, 2018.
